As a brief explanation: Mystery cards drops 1 week prior to the summer/winter sales. Once the summer sale begins on june 22, the mystery cards will convert to summer cards.
Mystery Cards replaces the Mostly useless discount coupons you get when you create a badge, meaning you are basically getting a free card to sell everytime you make said badge. It's the reason why many people are waiting for the summer/winter sales to create badges for the free money they get upon selling the mystery cards/summer&winter sale cards.
So start making badges and get the mystery cards. You will always get 1 random mystery card (numbered from Mystery Card #1 to Mystery Card #10) when you create a badge.
Sell them or wait for the summer sale and they will be converted into summer sale cards. From what i'm aware in the last years, you cannot make badges from the mystery cards you will get, so you will have to wait for them to convert into summer cards in order to create a summer sale 2017 badge.
